My story

Hi, my name is Luna. I was given my name because of my stunning silver dapple markings but it seems that the name was prophetic because now I am over the moon with happiness with my new life.
 
I am only 2 years old and until recently, I spent my whole life in a puppy mill cage. It was a horrible place but that is all behind me now. Now I can run and play in the grass or bask in the sunshine. My foster siblings have taught me many things about how to be a normal beloved dog. I never had a toy or a Nylabone before and now I think they are great! I am learning about walks and my potty training is ongoing.
 
I would do best in a home without very young children. I can probably live in an apartment or condo since I am not a barker. I do not know what a cat is but foster mom thinks I would be okay in a home with them since I do not have a high prey drive. I am not too keen on crates (it reminds me of the puppy mill....) but I do love to sleep in the big bed. Of course I also like to snooze on a dog bed during the day.
 
I am very happy in my foster home but I really want my own forever home. Maybe that could be with you?
