And now a few words from me:

Hi, my name is Duke and I am 10 years old, but you would never know it. Because I’m so small many people mistake me for a puppy! Crazy, huh? Do not let my age fool you, I am lively and like to play tag and will run to catch a toy and even bring back to you! I do not know many tricks, but my foster family is trying to teach me “down” when it is dinnertime (apparently I’m not allowed to eat from the table). I am a fun guy waiting for my fur ever family to take me home so I can learn more tricks!

And now a few words from my foster family:

Duke was originally a very quiet dog who made no sound. After warming up to us he showed us his bark, playfulness and quirks. He is very docile and is like a shadow; he follows everyone around, exploring and sniffing as he goes. He is energetic and loves to walk, is very good on a leash, and knows how to go to the washroom outside. He does not know many commands, we are trying to work on that, but the most important is trying to teach him to stay in his bed during dinner. It is safe to say that Duke LOVES treats and will let anyone pet him as long as they prove to have no snacks in their hand. If he does get a treat, he does a cute little shaking dance beforehand. He sleeps through the night, snuggled in a blanket on the couch or in his bed.
