10/28 update: Progress on the fear of men issue! Batgirl (aka Rebel) is now good with her foster dad and will even go up to him to be petted. She can often be found sleeping on his side of the bed at night because her foster mom tries to chase her off. LOL Hey, whatever works to bring her around! She's still somewhat afraid of our adult son, but we've tried crating her in his room for a few hours at a time to get her in close proximity to him and we've noticed that she's a bit less concerned about him now. So it appears she can live with men, it just takes her awhile to adapt to them. Any men in her adoptive home must be patient (very), gentle and kind. She's better when you're sitting or laying down and actually likes to cuddle in bed with you. When you're standing or moving/walking, you're a scary man. If you're a man who has the patience to work her through this, we'll consider you for her.

Hi there! I'm looking for a home with a woman or women. I was abused by a man and I don't like those dudes (well, except for maybe my foster dad). PS: She said to tell you I currently weigh 24 lb and am about 3 years old. If you have any male friends that you want me to hang out with, let them know I'm not very trusting of men and it'll probably take awhile before I want to be bothered with them. Also, she says I'm a great watch dog and always alert her when someone's approaching the house.
