Alberto's Story...
This sweet Catahoula leopard mix doggy is Alberto. Him and 5 female puppies that look nothing like him- were found on a dirt road off of a main highway where they obviously had been abandoned. Also besides not looking like the other 5 puppies- Alberto is also a bit bigger than them. He looks to be about 12 weeks old and about 18 pounds. He is just a little shy but coming out of that quickly. He will be completely vetted before going to his forever home including neuter, vaccines, worming, started on heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative. Alberto and his siblings are located in ARKANSAS but I have transport that brings up my ADOPTED doggies to the Northeast once they are adopted. When we list our rescues on Adoptapet.com they send out the info to all areas that our transport delivers to- that is why Alberto showed up as being in your area. For more info on Alberto - please email Sandy at vshutchins@gmail.com and thank you so much for considering adoption

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alberto, a Allentown Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
