My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy. 2 yr old female Dobie Mix. DOB 09/09/13. Contact twylasfriends@yahoo.com

Daisy is a female 62lb dobie mix. She is approximately 2 years old. Daisy was abandoned near IAH. Fortunately for her, some caring people who work in the area noticed her and would leave food and water for her. She was too scared to trust anyone and would come within two feet then run if approached. They tried for weeks to catch her and bring her to safety. It wasn't until they reached out to Twyla's Friends & the use of a trap that their efforts paid off. She was caught, vetted and is now being fostered by one of the persons who fed her and worried about her all those weeks.

Daisy can be described as a sweet and tender dog. She does really well with other dogs and is house, crate and potty trained. Daisy is spayed, has all her shots, and is heart worm positive however, is being treated monthly with a heart worm preventive and antibiotic. She enjoys walks everyday in the evenings and loves to sleep. She is very calm and just wants to be loved every moment. Contact twylasfriends@yahoo.com

*****If you would like more information about the dog featured above, be sure to send a note to the "Contact Person." This is the person fostering the dog and they will be happy to answer any questions you have. Please don't just show up at Adoption Day expecting every dog to be there. We are limited by the number of volunteers who can help at each Adoption Day.
Also, in sending your note to the Contact Person, be sure to include information about yourself, family, home, yard, fence, other pets, work situation, and pet accommodations. This information will help us make the best match between you and one of our dogs***
