My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Socrates! He came to us after being surrendered to a local shelter with several other rats- a situation all-too-common when pet rats are allowed to breed freely. He is estimated to be about 1.5 years old, though his owner reported he is approx 3 years old, so it's hard to know. Either way, he's in great shape for whatever age he is!
Socrates' favorite thing to do is eat, explore, cuddle, and hoard some food to eat later. His hilarious antics will never fail to make you laugh. He loves other animals, especially dogs and would likely do well with other rats. Socrates is fearless, so make sure all of his furry-friends are rat-friendly so he doesn't get himself into trouble.
