My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HUD is a 3 year old neutered black male Lab who weighs 41 pounds. Hud is a very friendly, sweet boy. He's a typical young lab with a bit of kennel energy. As a stray, he missed a few meals and needs to gain weight. Hud would love to have a family that will give him the exercise and training (and food) he craves. He will return the favor with a lifetime of love!! Hud is good with other dogs. From transporter #1: What a beautiful boy! Hud rides great in the car. All he needs is some food to put meat on his bones. Hud was a stray to the shelter. He is approved for kids 10+.

Update (10/9): Hud has settled in so nicely at his foster home. He is my "study buddy" while doing schoolwork. He enjoys playing with toys when we take a break. He loves to get treats and is working on sitting still for them, they make him so happy he keeps moving. He really is a little love!

Update (10/7): Hud is a smaller lab that settles nicely in a home. He likes to be close by humans and after a walk may play with toys or just settle down. He is not a big barker when in the house and settles down fairly quickly in the crate. He is working on his leash skills so a harness is being used. Although Hud came from the country we think that he would do OK in a more urban environment as noises and cars do not seem to scare or interest him.

Update (10/5): Hud is a happy 3 year old who enjoys retrieving balls, playing with toys and going on walks. He likes other dogs and he absolutely loves human attention. Hud is so glad to have regular meal times and is gaining weight.

Update (9/29): Hud is loving being in his foster home. He is a typical 3 yr old lab. He came to Lab Rescue from a shelter in West Virginia. He weighs 41 lbs and should gain a few. He enjoys riding in the car and going for walks. He gets along well with other dogs. He loves human attention and is very sweet!
