Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Zach is an 8 year old plush coat German Shepherd. He was originally surrendered to a shelter in Orlando, from there, he was transfered to a shelter in Daytona Beach area to save him from being euthanized, then adopted and surrendered again. He arrived at our rescue with some medical issues, major hair loss all over his body and no hope in his eyes.
Since then, Zach has been taken care of by his amazing foster mom in Jacksonville, FL. His coat is back to being shiny, no more bald spots. He has a spark in his eyes and he wants to play a lot more. Zach is the perfect dog! He may not be in perfect health but he is perfect for somebody. He has a personality of an Angel. Sweet and loving, gets along with dogs, cats, children.... does not need to be crated when left alone, he is also great off leash.
His kidneys are not in great shae so he does need to be on a special diet. His dog food is provided by a vet in Jacksonville so an ideal home for him would be in that area, but we will make exceptions for the right candidate. If interested in Zach, please fill out an adoption application on our website at www.dbgsdrescue.org.
His adoption fee is $200.
