Tracy's Story...
Tracy is a sweet and petite 3 mo old girl. She loves to cuddle and is also very playful with other kittens. She was rescued individually, without other litter mates, but she has happily made friends with other cats and kittens at her foster home. She is also good with the resident dog at her foster home.

Tracy had an injured tail when she was rescued, so her tail had to be partially amputated. The result is about a half length tail with all of the normal actions of a full length tail. She is adorable.

Adoption fee is a minimum $75 per cat donation to Feral Fixers . All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and felv/fiv negative.

Discounted adoption fee if two kittens or cats are adopted together, $130 for a pair.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tracy, a Lombard Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lombard, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Lombard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lombard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lombard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lombard paves the way for another one to be saved.
