April's Story...
April is around 2 years old. She is a very sweet girl looking for her forever home so she can stay snug this winter. If you have a snug home and would like to snuggle come visit her. Visual breed identification of dogs has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place dogs based on personality not breed label. Brother Wolf Animal Rescue's Adoption Center is located at 31 Glendale Ave., Asheville, NC 28803 or call 828-505-3440 for more information. Our hours are Mon.-Sun. 9:30am-6:30pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

April, a Asheville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Asheville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Asheville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Asheville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Asheville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Asheville paves the way for another one to be saved.
