How can you resist this baby, this Boy is BUDDY a gorgeous purebred Grey Ghost Weimaraner. Buddy is so handsome he is 95lbs of stunning Weimaraner yes a big boy, he is 6 yrs old, He has A lovely temperament, and stunning Weimy features He is blessed with beautiful good looks, and gorgeous soulful expressive eyes that just melt your heart.
Buddy s story >>>> Buddy is a sweet boy that found himself in a kill shelter in Alabama. We rescued Buddy from the prospect of Being Euthanized and he is now in foster care. We have since spoken to his original owner who had Buddy since he was 10 weeks old, Buddy was taken to the shelter his owner having moved 2 yrs ago had endured problems with her neighbors dog who kept coming in her yard and would attack Buddy. Animal Control were called and they have no leash laws in place Buddys owner kept protecting him but eventually it got worse one of her other dogs was poisoned and anonymous letters arrived in the mailbox. Buddys owner was scared for his safety so she turned him over to the shelter, Of course Buddys world just fell apart, to go from a loving home into a shelter is just heartbreaking to watch,
We brought Buddy into Lifeline and we are now searching for a wonderful forever home for him. A home that will give him the Love stability and security and he needs
This boy is so lovable he deserves a family that will give him the love and attention he deserves.
Buddy will warm to you and just melt your heart. Like most Weimaraners he loves to be around humans and will follow you around, He likes to go for walks and is just as happy staying with you indoors as long as you are around he is the happiest boy. Buddy is a calm boy a little wary when he is moved to a new environment but he quickly warms to you. Buddy is a loyal quiet boy he dosent like too much Chaos, , He is obedient and knows commands. Like most Weimaraners he loves car rides and he is excellent in the car. He is fine to be left alone for periods and does not need to be crated you can leave him and he will just find the nearest sofa or bed. We are looking for a family that will not crate Buddy.
At night time he will sleep on a sofa or a bed however he is a Weimy and just loves to sleep on your bed he loves to be close to his humans a typical Weimy Velcro boy.
He is housebroken, he will go to the door and bark when he needs to go out to potty.He will come when called. Buddy is at his happiest around humans, he bonds well. Its so hard not to fall in love with him. He is not a jumper but adores attention. He is intelligent and a smart learner
Buddy is neutered, current on all vaccinations micro.chipped heart worm negative and is up to date on monthly preventatives. He is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to relax in the home. We are looking to find Buddy a wonderful forever home where he can have stability and security in his life.
We are looking for a forever home that can cherish him and give him love attention and include him in family activities. A family that is really stable and can give him that forever home that means forever. We don't ever want to see this boy back in a shelter. Buddy is so lovable, and he is good around Children I would say older ones as he does have a protective nature. No Toddlers Buddy is a big boy and will knock them over, A family that will include him in their lifestyle and activities would be perfect someone that is home most of the day and has time to invest in him. Buddy will Shine with the right interaction.
A home with a fenced in yard or acreage where he can run and play is ESSENTIAL. Buddy is good around other dogs but he is a little wary of some. He would love a female Weim companion rather than a male we feel a female would be better for a long term basis he is with other males at the moment and no issues
We find Buddy a little uncomfortable with several dogs he dosent care for chaos. Please NO CATS this boy is just far too curious with cats. This boy is all Weimy beware of the counter tops he is tall enough to steal and he loves home comforts so if you do not like a dog on your sofa or bed Buddy is not for you he is the ultimate weimy with all the weim traits
Buddy is a loveable and loyal and any serious Weimaraner owner would be proud to have him around. He is good at bath time and is a happy boy with the most infectious smile.
