Autumn's Story...
This sweet girl loves everyone! Loves other dogs and is respectful of older or more dominant dogs but really loves to play. She was on the streets for a time and outsmarted animal control officers repeatedly. We actually caught her pretty easily in one try. She has now been with us long enough to really like people. She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. Autumn would love an active family that would go for walks and hikes or trips to the park or family events with other dogs. She would do best with a fenced yard if possible. She is spayed, UTD on all shots and HW tested neg. She is crate trained and probably reliably house trained after learning her new routine. If you would like to bring this beautiful sweet girl into your home and family this autumn, please contact lorainecm@comcast.net or omlc7@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Autumn, a Washington Collie/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Golden Retriever for sale in Washington, or seeking a Collie/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Collie/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
