Rudy's Story...
Meet Rudy. Rudy is a 2 year old JR/Beagle mix. He is the light of any party. All ways ready to play and have fun. He is good with other dogs and okay around the cats. He does have a pray drive so a running cat is to much temptation.

Obedience classes is always a great thing to do with you new dog, since it will help the dog and you bond with each other.

Rudy, is heartworm negative, neutered, up to date on shots, dewormed, and on preventions. He will be microchipped when adopted.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rudy, a Carthage Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle for sale in Carthage, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle dog from a breeder in Carthage.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carthage already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carthage breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carthage paves the way for another one to be saved.
