Say hello to Vail! She is a 2-year-old, red and white husky. Vail is on the small side for her breed, weighing in at a convenient 42 lbs. This gorgeous girl was brought into a local shelter extremely dirty and bit thin. She was so overwhelmed with fleas that her hair had began falling out and her skin was inflamed and irritated. Now that she has been washed and treated her good looks are shining through once again and she is feeling a lot better. Vail is very bright and energetic. She already has learned several commands and just loves showing them off for treats. Her ideal home would be one with an active family that loves going for walks and is willing to continue her training after adoption. ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to reduce unnecessary euthanasia of dogs and cats in at-risk situations and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
