Kira's story:

"Kira is 2 year old, spayed femal Akita. She is microchipped and up to date on all vaccines. We have had her since she was 8 weeks old; we purchased her from friends that had a litter. She has been an amazing family dog to us. About a year ago we adopted a smaller dog and they've gotten along fine until a few months ago,Kira started showing a little food aggression toward our other pup. We feed them separately but our other dog would sometimes sneak over. Kira has NEVER been aggressive toward us. We have two young children and she has been fine with them. Due to her issues with our other dog, we feel she would be better in a different home. She is such a sweetheart and I think she would be just fine as a only dog or in a home with a bigger dog and yard to play in. It kills us to see her go, but I think it's what's best. We are looking for a family who has a yard for her to run, time for her, and a loving forever home! A reasonable rehoming fee is being asked to ensure she's going to a good home."

Please contact Billie at talnavywife714@gmail.com if you are interested in giving Kira a wonderful forever home!
