Isaac is a male miniature Poodle approximately 2 years in age. He is a small, dainty boy currently weighing only 9 pounds. He should gain a bit more to reach his ideal weight of 12-14 pounds. Isaac has been professionally groomed and has a short summer cut at the moment. His coat is super soft, lovely dense curls that will grow out longer if allowed. Petting him feels like you are stroking velvet. He is simply adorable. Isaac is delightfully affectionate and eager to please his people. He wiggles with joy when you talk to him and loves attention. He is quite puppy-like in his mannerisms although he is excellent inside the home and is housebroken. He loves his walks and gets super excited and wiggly when its time to go out for a stroll. Isaac is easy to manage inside the home and is not a barker at all. We still have yet to hear a peep out of him. He is so adaptable and knows how to fit in. Isaac is good with other dogs, but its the people he loves the most. He can be playful during the day when the mood strikes him, but he is also a champ at snuggling and fits very nicely in a lap or cozy at your side in bed. He adores any and all attention, enjoying being stroked and fussed over, but he is not demanding. Isaac likes treats and takes them gently from your hand. He is good with children although a bit small so not recommended for younger kids. He rides quietly in the car and is very portable. Isaac has had a rough life so far, full of neglect. He was brought in to a very high-volume/high-kill shelter nearly starved to death. He has regained most of his weight quickly already and is in great health. This young boy is a true gem and will make some person or family very happy! Isaac is ready for his new forever loving home today.
Isaac’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Isaac is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Carol and is ready for his forever home.
