Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Belvedere is a 2 year old smaller Great Dane who was rescued at the last minute from a kill shelter in SC where he was scheduled for euthanasia just because he had an upper respiratory infection (a common cold). He is now all better! He was a stray. He had to have his tail docked when he arrived to Recycled Tails due to "happy tail" that started at the shelter. He is such happy boy that he could not stop wagging his tail even when it was bleeding! He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is currently 3/4 of the way through his treatment for heartworms. This is completely covered by Recycled Tails and has had no affect on his health or activity level. Due to his size and energy we would like to see him in an only dog home but we are open to other options. He may do well with another dog with an appropriate temperament. We have been unable to cat test him yet but he does have a prey drive (mainly for chickens) so we are thinking he will not be good with cats.
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please email us your questions (RecycledTails@hotmail.com) or fill out an application (http://goo.gl/VLKtYw). Please do not call about the dog. Our adoption donation is $250 per dog. Our dogs are up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption.
