Sampson's Story...
Sampson is about 2 yo 3 years old and as you can see in his pictures, a very handsome boy with a giant block head. He weighs in at 104 pounds. He has been through formal training and knows all his basic obedience commands as well as "back up". He also walks well on a leash. He is neutral with other dogs, after he has been formslly introduced. Sampson has no food aggression that we have seen with people. If you give him a rawhide he may growl at another dog if they come too close to it. He has limited experience with children, therefore we would like all children in the household, over the age of 12 years. Sampson comes across as a trusting, confident loving boy. We are head over heals in love with him and know you will be too if you give him a chance. Please fill out our adoption questionnaire under the forms tab on www.rottenrottie.com to start the adoption process.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sampson, a Gilbert Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
