My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets! Well, not everything . . . but this little sweetheart is pretty persuasive when she gives you the wide-eyed look with those big baby blues. She also likes to come in close for a nuzzle and lick on the nose, then she’ll flop and roll over for a belly rub, and she’s actually sincere about that—no tricks! Then she might jump to the back of the sofa and drape herself around some friendly shoulders, and start up her dainty but determined purr motor. She’s irresistible!

Lola is as smart as she is beautiful, and extremely social; she needs a family who will enjoy her participation in daily household activities. She will be happy to greet your friends and spend time hanging out with the whole gang. She will especially love your friends who are willing to get on the floor and play a few rounds of Cat Dancer or Da Bird. Lola might be a bit much for a family that includes small or big people who aren’t always steady on their feet because she likes to walk very close and weave around between feet as they move.

As with all bright and confident youngsters, Lola is very curious and easily bored, and will do best with another cat or cat-friendly dog to keep her company when the people are gone or busy. She is very skilled at organizing games with the other kittens at her foster home, including hide-and-seek, hunker-and-pounce, and of course kitty soccer matches, featuring balls that crinkle and jingle. If your home includes a youngish adult cat who is bored, lonesome, and needs a pal, Lola might be just the girl for you.

Lola is about a year old and is in excellent health. She has been spayed, microchipped, and is up-to-date on vaccines. She has been tested negative for FeLV/FIV. Her adoption fee is $100.

All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.
