Harrison's Story...
Harrison is a very sweet, male Hound Dog mix. He is approx. 2-3 years old. He appears to have had a rough life before coming to Bow-Wow Buddies by looking at the scars on his face & ears from possibly being attacked by a wild hog, but that hasn't phased him one bit. He is super friendly, playful, & loves to be petted. Like a hound dog, Harrison loves to sniff around the yard. He is crate trained, potty trained, knows how to sit, & is good with other dogs. This handsome fella would make a great friend for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harrison, a Graford Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Graford, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Graford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Graford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Graford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Graford paves the way for another one to be saved.
