Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cammy is a 12-pound 12-week puppy (as of October 15) who came to us from Missouri along with her 5 brothers and sisters. All her siblings are adopted, and settling into their homes with glowing reports. Cammy is the last puppy left of this litter-- last, but certainly not least! We think she is a lab mix, but only those willing to take pot luck on what breed she is and size she will be, should apply. We know she is not a barker, in fact, we've never heard so much as a peep out of her. And she has a soft, plush coat that you just want to keep petting.
Cammy recently spent a few days in a foster home, where she slept through the night in her crate with no crying and no accidents. She was interested in chewing on the rug, but was even happier chewing on a chew toy! Respectful of the 7 year old family dog, she clearly prefers/adores people. She will play fetch, then go to her doggy bed for a nice long nap. If you are looking for a sweet, quiet, lower energy dog to add to your family, then come meet Cammy!
Because she is still young, Cammy needs a family where someone is home part or all of the day to complete her potty training and keep her socialized. She should be ready for puppy school in a few weeks; obedience training is another requirement for adoption.
You can meet Cammy at her current foster home, Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Road in Wilmette, during normal business hours (847-251-6750,www.wilmettepetcenter.com ). Although she is so sweet you will want to take her home on the spot, please note you will have to go through the application process first.
Cammy’s adoption fee is $375, which includes a vet exam, DHAPP (distemper combo) vaccination, bordetella vaccination, microchip, deworming, flea and tick preventative, heartworm preventative, and spay.
