Cassie is about 2 years old and currently weighs in at a chunky 24 pounds. She was rescued after 6 months of running up and down a busy road parallel to Hwy 59. She was elusive and shy, appearing and just as quickly disappearing, but finally we were able to catch her at the end of March. During the time that she was on the streets her back left leg was injured and we finally elected to amputate because there was just so much damage. Now she runs on 3 legs and like most dogs in this situation she knows no different. She runs and plays just like any other dog and her foster mom doesn't even notice that she is a tripawd now.

This one is a keeper but her mom decided to put her up for adoption because they just have too many dogs and she needs more than they can give her in their household. She is a slightly shy, gentle dog who wants nothing more than to get attention and be loved and doted on. She gets along with the other dogs tho and would be fine as a only dog or with another her size.

She is fully vetted and microchipped and is house trained. The photos show her both before and after grooming. Her coat is super soft and long but it was matted so it was cut short. Grooming will be a consideration depending on her new family’s preference. The one ear is always up and the other down.
