BLEU's Story...
Bleu is a beautiful 5 year old Beagle/Foxhound mix male who weighs 47 lbs. The words; playful, energetic and affectionate describe him best. Bleu is a very strong dog with all of his Hound instincts. Cats, squirrels and armadillos are not for Bleu. Playing with other dogs is one of his favorite pastimes. Bleu does not like thunderstorms and would love to cuddle with you through the scary moments in a storm. Bleu is leash trained and wants to go-go-go! Hiking and going for runs anywhere that you choose would be a welcome event for this boy. He has been crate trained. Recently, Bleu has spent time indoors and has done very well with his house manners. His greatest wish is to find affectionate, active people! Older children are fine for him…10 years and older. And please do not inquire if you have cats. Other than that, this boy is your guy! ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BLEU, a Salem Beagle/Foxhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Foxhound for sale in Salem, or seeking a Beagle/Foxhound dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Foxhound breeders who help with Beagle/Foxhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
