Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lolly is a sweetheart who is really fun and loving. Her delicate looks make you think of a princess – but super playful and adventurous! She likes to play with ice cubes in a bowl of water, trying to get them out. If it’s a big enough bowl, she’ll climb right into the water! Lolly loves to chase toys around the house, sometimes picking them up and carrying them around. If another cat comes close, she growls to protect her “prey” (pretty funny from such a girly girl). When she’s feeling mellower, she jumps on your lap and absorbs all the petting and attention she can get. She is happy watching TV from her perch on your lap, playing with your toes in bed, or sleeping in your arms. She can hold her own against an adult cat, taking their swipes and still managing to steal their food. She has such a great, unique personality – combined with her looks, how could you not fall in love with her?
From Lolly: “I love my foster home, but I’m so excited to meet my own family! I will give you my whole heart forever, in exchange for your love (and ice cubes). Are you my forever family? I’ve waited so long to meet you!”
Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a playful cat. Lolly really needs a playmate in her forever home…and then they can get to play, and snuggle while you're not home. Check out our website to look for potential buddies. If there is already another playful cat or kitten in your house, that would work out too…she already proved he is great at making friends!
You can meet Lolly at Wilmette Pet, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750 www.wilmettepetcenter.com). Although you may want to adopt her on the spot, please know that you will have to go through the application process first.
Lolly’s ACTUAL date of birth is 6/20/15. Her adoption fee of $135 includes her vet exam, FVRCP vaccinations, FIV & Feline Leukemia testing (neg), routine deworming, flea control, microchip and spay.
