My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Sparky, a 10-month old neutered Border Terrier. I weigh 25
pounds and am 16 inches tall at the shoulder. I am a little bigger
than I look in my pictures. My foster mom thinks I may be a mix
because I am just a bit bigger than a BT should be.

I have never met a human I didn't like and I love other dogs, too! My
tail is always wagging and I love to give kisses. I would do best
with slightly older children only because I like to jump up to give
everyone kisses and loves. My foster mom is working on breaking me of
this, though.

I love to play in the backyard, play in the water, go for walks, and
just being pet and loved on by my foster family. I rarely bark. When
the dogs on the other side of the fence are barking at me, I just go
about my business. I would love to have an active family that will
take me on lots of walks/hikes and I will return the favor with my
companionship and loyalty.

I am working on potty training and am doing well, but I have had a few
accidents. My foster family is working with me to learn how to sit on
command, too. I really REALLY love people and I am eager to please.
