My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MARLEY: 2 Year Old Male Neutered Yellow Lab / Mix 80 Pounds

Happy Happy Marley was found wandering the streets in Ukiah. He would run up to everyone on the street with a wag and then he would roll over for a belly rub! A good samaritan took him to the Ukiah shelter where they reached out to GGLRR. After he passed all the tests at the shelter with flying colors we took him into our program.

We currently have Marley at one of the boarding facilities we use in Petaluma and he is loving it. He gets to play with a variety of dogs with no issues and he has a kennel run with a clean bed to rest his head on at night! He rides well on the car, loves to play with his toys and seems to always be smiling. He does need an adopter who will continue with his training and continue with his leash skills. Marley has no issues with other dogs other than he thinks they all should be his friend!

Marley has all his shots, he is microchipped, heartworm negative and neutered.

He is located in Petaluma.

(Please keep in mind we are all volunteers, most of us work full time and we all have personal lives. I do call everyone back within 2-3 days so please be patient and I will be back in touch with you. When the dogs are in foster homes then it may take longer as we need to touch base with the fosters for updates on the dogs. We work very hard to make the right matches for the dogs and for the new owners. We get 3-5 dogs per week and we do not have a facility that we keep the dogs housed in. They are scattered all over the Bay Area.)
