My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Noah! We received a call from Animal Control about a dog with an eye injury. We immediately went to see if we could help. As soon as we saw Noah we took him to the vet where he had emergency surgery to remove his eye. We are unsure what caused his injury but by the time Animal Control picked him up infection had set in and his eye could not be saved. Poor guy. There is no telling how long he suffered with this injury.

Fast forward to today.....Noah is the most loving little guy ever. Only having one eye is not a disability at all to him. He is simply perfect the way he is. He loves everyone he meets and everyone who meets him loves him back. He is full of personality. He gets along with all dogs big and small. He is great with kids. He has not been cat tested but can be if needed.

Noah is a cattle dog/basset hound mix. He has the most adorable basset legs with a cattle dog body and this makes him special and unique. His birthday is estimated to be 8/24/13 which makes him just over 2 years old. He weighed 26 lbs on 8/24/15 at his initial vet visit but his foster mom has been feeding him well so he is probably closer to 30 lbs now. His foster mom fell instantly in love with him. He is just that kind of dog. You will love him at first sight.

Noah is housetrained, up to date on vaccinations, neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives. Now all he really needs is a place to call home. A family who will look past the fact that he only has one eye and love him anyway. How could you not? He makes it impossible not to love him. Do you have a place in your heart for Noah? He will be your best friend for life.
