Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Athens is a friendly, outgoing young 2 year old boy, named for his incredible tawny-gold owl eyes. He was picked up as a stray, and is very happy to be safe indoors. Athens is very affectionate, and will roll, knead, and purr for attention - he'll even jump up on his foster mom's shoulders! He's not a fan of being picked up, though, and would prefer to come to you on his own - which will be frequently. He is also a very playful, active cat that enjoys lots of playtime. Once he's tuckered out, he may snooze on your lap; he is very cuddly once worn out.
Athens has a sensitive stomach, and has been reacting to foods that are too rich. We're not sure exactly what he's reacting to, but he has been doing well with prescription sensitive-stomach dry food and canned Wellness.
Athens is looking for an indoor-only home. As an alpha cat, he has done well with a more submissive cat in his foster home. He also expects that you "speak cat," as he doesn't appreciate his signals going ignored. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
