Hello, Queenie here, and I am everyone’s best friend. I am your typical Calico Persian kitty – I love to get to know humans and even some other pets on a very personal level. Can you believe that my original owners dropped me off at the vet, and then left me there to be euthanized because I was (and still am) too affectionate. I don’t get it. I thought people loved having a kitty that is super friendly and outgoing, but I guess that’s not always the case.
So the vet tech at the vet office reached out to her kitty loving friend who agreed to take me into her home until she can find me a great forever home. Well, that was about 4 years ago. Now my caretaker has conflicting obligations; she is actually taking care of her elderly mom, so she contacted this great group called Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue and asked if they can assist in finding me a loving forever home.
Anyone out there who likes an affectionate kitty? Care to give me a forever home, pretty please? I am great with children and I also like my caretaker’s little Chihuahuas just fine. My caretaker tells me that I am explorative, curious, alert and very smart. I try to open cupboard doors and I like sitting in high places – most Persian kitties don’t really like high places so that makes me extra special.
My last vet check was about one year ago because I had a urinary tract infection, but now I am fine and fit as a fiddle…well, no, I am not a fiddle, just a cute little cat. Oh and FYI - I love being brushed. Thank you for reading my bio and hope to meet you soon!
