for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Brooks's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Brooks's Story...
Meet Brooks.
A handsome dude of approx 4yrs old. He is neutered, UTD in vaccinations, HW-, and micro-chipped. And a big boy!. His previous family moved after losing their home and couldn’t find an apartment for such a large dog. We seem to think there was a lack of proper exercise and probably free feeding in lieu of 2 good proportional size meals. So now he is on smaller meals and running and playing with a very active female in the foster yard.
Brooks takes his time to warm up to folks. Small children, dogs, cats… well they need to live somewhere else. He can be silly and goofy, yet attempts to play fetch. Are you in need of a strong guy in your life? Are you just what the doctor ordered to get Brooks back in shape so he can enjoy the rest of his life? If so, contact Simply Shepherds Rescue to do a meet and greet with Brooks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brooks, a Evergreen Park German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Evergreen Park, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Evergreen Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evergreen Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evergreen Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evergreen Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
