Tandy's Story...
Tandy - 5 month old Norfolk Terrier/Dachshund mix

Tandy is still all puppy and has so much energy. She loves playing with other dogs and her ideal home would be where she would have a doggie playmate. She is a little shy and timid, so a home without really small children would be best. She just came to our rescue and as soon as she has her spay surgery (the week of October 12th) she will be available for adoption. We will update her bio once we learn more about her. Adoption fee $250.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tandy, a Indianapolis Norfolk Terrier/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norfolk Terrier/Dachshund for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Norfolk Terrier/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norfolk Terrier/Dachshund breeders who help with Norfolk Terrier/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
