My name is Aura!

Shih Tzu Puppy for adoption in Woodstock, Ontario - Aura

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Aura's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Aura's Story...
Aura is a beautiful and lively little Shih Tzu pup looking for her forever home. She needs a special place as she was born deaf and cannot hear anything. She’s a wonderful girl, good with other dogs and cats, and her foster family is working on housetraining.

She will need an experienced adopter who will take her to obedience training (using a vibrating collar), and socialize her well in a structured positive environment (not the dog park!) to ensure she gets the best start possible.

Adoption Fee: $350.00

Please apply online on our website under the tab Dogs for Adoption.

**Please note: We are a foster based rescue, therefore we cannot book any meet and greets without approval of your submitted adoption application first. Everything we know about the rescue dog is indicated in the above write-up. Please do not email asking for “more information” on this dog, or if he/she is still available as we are all volunteer and do not have full time access to answer emails. If the ad is listed on petfinder or adoptapet, then the rescue dog has not yet been adopted.**

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aura, a Woodstock Shih Tzu puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Woodstock, or seeking a Shih Tzu puppy from a breeder in Woodstock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodstock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodstock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodstock paves the way for another one to be saved.
