Mist's Story...
Hi! My name is Mist. I'm a 1 year old Domestic Short-Haired Cat . I have been spayed, de-wormed, micro-chipped, and I have received my first set of vaccinations. I will still require a rabies vaccine after I am adopted.
Who has four paws and goes crazy over cat nip? This gal! I sure do love my treats as well! This will win my heart over any day :) I love to play around and to scope out whats going on in the outside world. You may see me hanging out on the ledge of a window, so why not keep me company. I am looking for a new friend to make new adventures with. Come visit me at the shelter today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mist, a Lloydminster Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lloydminster, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lloydminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lloydminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lloydminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lloydminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
