My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max is a tan/white terrier mix who weighs 10 lbs. He is about 5-6 years old but he's so spunky and young at heart you'd never guess it!

He was surrendered by his owner to the shelter because of landlord issues. He is doing really well in a healthy routine with his temporary fosters, and always wakes up in a good mood! Max loves to go for walks, and is working on leash training as he can be reactive around large crowds of people. (He says he hates skateboards, too, btw!). He can be aggressive with other dogs while on leash and he will bark if left alone or at noises outside. He responds well to being wrapped in a blanket at these times.

Max's favorite things to do are play fetch, take naps, or watch you on the computer for hours. Once he knows you he sticks like glue. He likes to burrow into you for comfort but may be nippy if petted when he doesn't want to be touched. He is housetrained and good with other small low-energy dogs. Max is very high energy and can be a little mouthy . He is overall a loyal and affectionate dog whose ideal home would be super chill and filled with love, patience, and lots of toys! We recommend an experienced owner for Max and we suggest no small children in the home for now.
