Dexter's Story...
Meet Mr. Dexter
He is a 6 1/2 year old shep/lab/aussie mix. He is very sweet and laid back. Gets along with dogs as long as they arent to pushy, he gets scared and will hide. He gets along with cats great, hes actually runs if they try to swat him. Loves kids, loves to play fetch and just loves all his toys in general. Dexter does have a toy OCD, they need to all be in one place so he knows where they are, it really is the cutest thing. Dexter is neutered, up to date on shots, micro chipped and heartworm negative. His bags are packed and hes looking for a forever family to love him. Being fostered in Orange County NY. If interested in Dexter you can email rottnrescues@aol.com for more info or an application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dexter, a Cuddebackville Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Cuddebackville, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cuddebackville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cuddebackville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cuddebackville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cuddebackville paves the way for another one to be saved.
