Aslan is 13ish years old; he is a sweet, loveable, small standard black and grey dapple Dachshund in need of a forever home. His previous human passed away and no longer has anyone to care for he and his brother, Jadis. Aslan likes to run and play outside and is a good eater. He has some minor health issues (skin irritation, a hernia since birth and a fat deposit on his neck, but otherwise is a healthy, senior doxie looking for a loving family to live out his days with.
ODR, INC. ADOPTION CRITERIA (aka Our Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and children need to be 10 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues.
