Ronnie Firestone's Story...
Meow, meow! I am a proud member of "The Firestone Four". I was living behind the Firestone in Odessa when my new foster family came in for a car repair. It turns out my litter mates and I have different mamas so we've created our own little club. The fellas at Firestone were kind. We ate lots of Chinese food and barbeque, but with some coaxing, I have come to see the merits of indoor living and wet cat food. I was named after the owner of Firestone because I am just like him. I am soft spoken yet have a great sense of humor. I am in charge and the other kitties know it. I am just starting to trust people and my first reaction is to run, but catch me and I will cuddle. If you take me into your family, I will remind you to get your oil changed every 3,000 miles and not let you forget to rotate your tires! Meow, meow!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ronnie Firestone, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
