Stitch's Story...
Say hello to Stitch! He is an adorable Cattle Dog mix who is a volunteer favorite! This amazing dog is extremely smart and driven, just like his breed is known for. He is an agility pro and loves to walk the plank and jump through hoops. He also knows a wide variety of commands and loves to show off his extensive obedience training for yummy treats. Stitch is also housetrained. When he isn't showing off his superstar smarts, Stitch loves to chase tennis balls, play with squeaky toys, and show off his affectionate side. Stitch has joined our staff and volunteers on weekly runs where he can burn off his Cattle Dog energy. He is a fantastic pup who would thrive in an environment where he can get a lot of mental and physical exercise.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stitch, a Chicago Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
