Facts about Jetta

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black (All)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Jetta is an independent gal, though she often likes to hang out right where you are. She does not often seek out affection but she loves to play! She loves to fetch, fuzzy balls and wadded up post it notes alike, Jetta does not discriminate. She will demonstrate her prowess by leaping for feather toys, and chases pretty much anything.

She shows love by twining around your legs, and rewards you with the level of affection proper for a house panther…about a minute. ☺ Jetta is very vocal, she greets with meows and the occasional chirp and plays with big cat noises. She has a tendency towards rough play, but is getting more gentle with redirection to toys.

Jetta is a large personality, a combination of aloof and goofy, who loves attention and playtime and will reward with you token affection.

Come to Tenth Life on Cherokee to meet Jetta and have a house panther of your own!

About Tenth Life Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Tenth Life is an animal welfare organization that provides another chance at life to injured and abused stray cats. Our focus is on felines with extreme medical needs or ongoing conditions that make it difficult for typical shelters to afford their care.

Stage one of our mission is getting needy cats off the streets of St. Louis and into caring Foster Homes, where they await their forever homes. Stage two´s goal is to open a shelter building that will house special-needs kitties in a cage-free, no-kill setting until they can be carefully placed in their forever homes.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters are required to complete a comprehensive application and interview, and will need to supply proper identification, as well as personal and veterinary references. Our adoption fee is $125 for kittens 6 months or younger, and $100 for any cat over six months of age. Our fee includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccines to-date of adoption, and a microchip. Once approved, all adopters are required to sign an adoption contract.
