My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello. My name is Nocce and I am a 4-year old lovely and quiet girl that is just finishing up raising the 2 baby girls that I brought with me to Rescue. They are about ready to leave the nest, which means it is time for me to start looking for my forever home.

I came to Rescue with very few social skills or home environment experiences, and really wasn't too sure about all these new people, comfy furniture, and cozy things that make life so wonderful-But that sure is changing FAST! I have discovered snuggles, and blankies, and human affection and it is a pretty great thing!

I am still a little uneasy with fast movements and with men, but am working on those and showing improvement every day. A dad would be okay in my new home, as long as he understands that it may take me a little longer to warm up to him than a mom. For now, I will also likely do best in a home without little humans that have lots of energy. I need a calm structured environment where I will continue to feel safe enough to explore and experiment with new things-I am more curious with every passing day. My foster mom caught me in the toy box just the other day and I have also introduced myself to the family cat...she's my new friend, along with the other iggies that live here.

I enjoy wagging my tail, laying next to my foster mom on the couch to watch TV in the evenings, and the safety of my soft and cozy crate at night. I am looking forward to meeting my new family soon!
