This is Bess! She followed the kids to school and since dogs aren't allowed, she had to come to Animal Control. She a younger adult Pit Bull Terrier blend with a pretty golden coat. She has been a little timid in her new surroundings, but she does love attention and has been pretty well-mannered. We suspect she has a playful side that she hasn't shown us yet. She could use a little grooming TLC, but is a beautiful girl. Hopefully she will soon get a new furever home where she can blossom into a cherished pet.
Born Again Pit Bull Rescue regularly works with the wonderful volunteers at the Del Norte County Animal Control Shelter located out in rural Crescent City, CA (a small coastal town on the OR/CA border). They have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption viewing hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs can’t always come outside to play -- so we want you to see some of their really great dogs that they have up for adoption -- it's only a short 5-hour drive from Portland to adopt your new family member!
Del Norte County Animal Control is located in Crescent City, CA. They are open Monday – Friday from 8am to 5pm. They are closed Saturday and Sunday.
