My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximately 7 years old.

Mushi is relaxed and easy-going, with a dash of sassiness at times. She is loving and affectionate, and loves to be close to you at all times. She has the most beautiful gaze that really pierces the soul and has a way of letting you know exactly what she wants, whether it be more food, or more cuddles. She is a little more timid than her feline best friend Bashu (M), but once she gains your trust, will be just as loving and entertaining!

Bashu is a handsome rambunctious black and white fella with a big personality. He is full of energy, incredibly curious and wildly intelligent. He can open doors, believe it or not, and will have the whole house figured out in no time. He is also wonderfully loving and although he does not like to be picked up, really enjoys attention and being spoken to (he is a talker). Don't let his adult size fool you-this big boy still has the demeanour of a 4 month-old kitten.

Bashu was found abandoned with his soul sister, Mushi, on the streets of Doha, Qatar, emaciated and broken-hearted. The previous shelter where they were being housed was forced to close down due to limited funds, and they were brought here to Canada with the hopes of finding them a forever home.

These two have spent their whole lives together and are inseparable. The ideal encapsulation of two peas in a pod. It would be optimal to have them adopted as a pair.

Mushi and Bashu are participating in our Courtesy Adoption Posting Program and is not the property of Toronto Cat Rescue. Toronto Cat Rescue does not accept responsibility for any pet placements that result from this service. If you need more info or would like to adopt please contact Tina at atniaki@gmail.com directly. Thank you!
