My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Benny is currently at Hampstead PetValu.

Benny's adoption fee is sponsored. He only needs an approved adopter!

Hi. I'm Benny, also known as Benny Bum Bum. You see, I started out as a lost kitty and a very nice man took me in and called me Bum. I had a good life, but my friend got sick and couldn't take care of me any longer. That's why Saving Grace is helping me find a new forever home.

Starting again was a little scary at first. But I adjusted quickly. I am a 5 year old tuxedo cat with half a mustache. I currently have a foster brother and sister and 4 giant furry beasts called dogs. My sister looks just like me (without the mustache) and she's looking for her forever home too. We aren't litter mates but foster siblings. We get along so we can be adopted together or separately.

My foster mom says I'm the talkative one. I'm also known as the peacemaker and the adventurer. I will wander down in the morning and tease the dogs, but I also know when someone wants to be left alone. I give great kisses and purr very loudly when I am happy.

I love spending my day sitting on the cat tree on the highest ledge and peering out the window. When I really want quiet time, I sit on the shelf in the closet. My foster mom swears I save all my energy so I can romp and play at night when everyone is heading off to sleep. That's when I really start running and jumping and playing with toys. (But I don't make too much noise because everyone needs their sleep.)

I am hoping to find my forever family, someone who will want to sit and talk with me in the morning and snuggle during the day. Could that be you?

Benny is neutered, vaccinated (rabies & FVCRP), tested for FELV/ FIV with a negative result and treated for parasites.

Benny' foster home is located in Westminster, MD (Carroll County).
