Tank's Story...
Meet Tank! This sweet boy was born August 15th, just mere days after we rescued his very pregnant mom, Queso, from Tijuana, Mexico. We are SO glad we got Queso to the US just in time to give birth to handsome Tank and his 6 brothers and sisters. Tank is a 7 week old Pit Bull mix who is a solid boy, like his name implies. He loves to play with his sister, chew on bully sticks and chase empty water bottles. He's a total boy through and through! Tank is very sweet, smart curious boy who would love nothing more than to find a loving forever family. He is up to date on vaccines (still in the process of his first 3 rounds of vaccines), microchipped, and will be neutered when old enough. His adoption fee is $300. If you are interested in adopting Tank, please head over to our website and fill out an online application: https://www.theanimalpad.org/applications/adoption

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tank, a San Diego Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
