LYNDY's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, and up to date with shots.

LYNDY's Story...
Lyndy showed up as a stray. She is about 1 year old, weighs about 40 lbs and probably won't get much bigger, and is a full blooded Treeing Walker Coonhound. She is friendly and sweet, and doing well learning to walk on a leash. Lyndy loves to play. She gets along with other dogs except at feeding time. She can be a little bossy and so it would be best if she was fed separately from other dogs. She does bark some, since she is a Coonhound, mostly when something is going on or if she wants attention. We are not sure how she would be with cats, but being a Coonhound, she should probably do best without them. She is friendly with all kinds of people; men, women and children. She needs a good sized fenced area because she loves to run and play and has enough energy that she needs to burn it off daily. HHS. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Why Adoption is a Great Option

LYNDY, a Salem Treeing Walker Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Treeing Walker Coonhound for sale in Salem, or seeking a Treeing Walker Coonhound dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Treeing Walker Coonhound breeders who help with Treeing Walker Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
