Scarlett's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Scarlett is a little scared right now but she is happy to be indoors.  She will need time to adjust after living on the streets.  Scarlett would love a quiet home, no small children, no dogs and a cat or two would be fine with her.  A cat may help her learn to trust and move past being so scared.  She loves to play, lay in the sun and nap.  If you want a challenge, this would be your girl, she needs 100 percent of your attention to become the best kitten ever.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scarlett, a Coos Bay Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Coos Bay, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Coos Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coos Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coos Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coos Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
