Jessie's Story...
Howdy partner, I'm Jessie.

Just like a scene out of Toy Story I was thrown to the side like an old toy, but lucky for me I am now safe at a local shelter. I am about a 1 1/2 year old Mountain Curr/Plott Hound mix. With my handsome brindle coat and precious personality, I think I would be hard to resist. I am UTD on shots and neutered. All I need now is my forever home. I promise to love you "To Infinity and Beyond!"

My adoption fee $200. Please apply for me online at - http://www.adoptapet.com/rural-animal-rescue-effort-rare/adoption-application-2/ or email ruralanimalrescueeffort@gmail.com and we'll get one to you today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jessie, a Columbia Mountain Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mountain Cur for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Mountain Cur dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mountain Cur breeders who help with Mountain Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
