My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jazzy is a sassy little girl who is confident, nosy, curious, and LOVES to run, play and wrestle with any cat confident enough to take her on! She was out of time in a shelter with an 82% kill rate when the local humane society spayed her to help her adoption prospects. However, she proved quite cranky at Petsmart and kept scratching anyone who passed her cage. We believe she had had enough of being caged and controlled 24-7, so at first she was VERY scratchy and defensive, like she expected us to take her away from her toys and new freedom and put her in a cage. Now she has calmed down though she's still full of herself and very headstrong. She and her friend Velvet race around and wrestle; she LOVES all toys and the laser pointer and is VERY athletic and strong. She's a beautiful girl but very much a tomboy and diva. She has perfect litterbox habits (large uncovered with scoopable litter). Jazzy was taken off availability for several years, because she became best friends with a little foster who was in failing health, who eventually passed away. We have given her time to adjust and she is just fine now, but she deserves to soar away to find a new home where she can be the star, instead of a "forever foster," always in the waiting crowd.
