Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cuffy came to the shelter because his elder owner could no longer provide proper care for him. He is a sweet, quiet, and content guy, with long fluffy black and white fur. He's fond of his human friends, and enjoys being held and loved. While we are busy with our chores, he just finds a quiet place out of the way -- he's not frightened and does not hide, he just finds a place to wait patiently for us to come and give him some love, which he is eager to consume when we have some time for him. For a cat who only recently had a home, he has adjusted well to his temporary home at the shelter. Cuffy seems to be just fine with the other shelter cats. Though we can't say for sure, he might be okay with dogs or older children who are accustomed to living with cats. Though he previously lived in a quieter home, he really has adjusted well to the comings and goings of various people and cats at the shelter.
Cuffy is 5-6 years old, box-trained, neutered, current on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. Adoption fee for adult cats is $50 (cash or check only, please). For more information on Cuffy, or an adoption application, email ClayvilleCritters@cox.net, call the shelter at (401) 647-7200, or visit the shelter during regular hours: Tue, Wed, Fri 7 to 11 a.m., Thursday 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
