My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ozma has had a horrible life living at a house with gang members who for sport let their pitbulls attack cats. Their dogs killed many of Ozma's past litters of kittens and traumatized Ozma over the years. She was lucky to escape with her last litter of 4 two and one-half week old kittens. She was half dead and very skinny when rescued and is recovering from her lifelong ordeal. Ozma's estimated DOB is 7/22/09 and she appears to be a Nebelung (long-haired Russian Blue) who now weighs about 7.5 lb. She is no trouble at all and is very sweet and gentle. She is looking for a quiet home with an understanding and compassionate owner. If any cat deserves TLC and a good, permanent home, it is Ozma. She has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and tested negative for feline leukemia virus. $25 adoption fee, cash only, which is to help reimburse for a portion of expenses of cat rescue and rehabilitation. Adoption contract required. Location: Quail Valley/Menifee, Southwest Riverside County. Local adoptions only; within 50 mile radius because we deliver animal to its new home. (Please note: L.A. and Orange Counties are out of area.) We are looking for adopters who are willing and able to care for this pet for its lifetime (10+ years). If interested, please email us with a little info about you, your family, your other pets, where you live, etc. Thank you.
